We have an incredibly talented community of parents and families members at Whitaker! If you have a special skill, unique gift, or career path that could provide support for our school, we would love to have you contribute. Here are a few examples of how Whitaker parents have utilized their skills and talents to make an impact on our school community:

• Parents who are artists painted the beautiful mural in the Whitaker lobby
• Whitaker Circle hosted a panel for parents on a variety of health and well-being topics – panelists included parents who work as pediatricians, mental health counselors, and educators
• Parent who worked at Wake Forest University in Athletics set-up a field trip to the university’s campus
• Grandparent and retired educator provided reading tutoring for students
• Parent with career in graphic design provided support with the Whitaker Circle newsletter design
• Kindergarten class learning about different cultures hosted parents from various nationalities to talk about their countries of origin including Greece, England, and Afghanistan
